PerformancePoint CTP1 - When Time isn't Time.

Due to issues I'm having with the Scorecard builder (is it functional in CTP1 or not? - getting mixed messages on the forum and newsgroups), I decided to do some KPI work using Proclarity Business Logic Server.

However, it is unable to find any time hierarchies as it is looking for dimensions of type time and the Time dimension (from the D_Time table) created by PerformancePoint seems to be of
regular type.

What would be the impact of changing the dimension type to Time after the site has been deployed and reprocessing the cubes (Business Logic Server would then certainly pick up the hierarchies)? Any impact on the in-built time intelligence of PerformancePoint?

I'll let you know when I find out, bearing in mind as I have said in previous posts that any redeployment of the model site would destroy and recreate the cube setting the in-built Time dimension back to regular type.

Yes, the scorecard builder is mostly functional in CTP1.  With CTP1 however, the time dimensions in PerformancePoint were not flagged as type Time and were causing issues with ProClarity Business Logic.  In CTP2, the dimension will be flagged as type time and I believe they were also to flag the levels in the dimension as their respective time types as well which should resolve the issues there.
