PerformancePoint CTP1 to PerformancePoint CTP2 - No upgrade path, reinstall.

The latest from Microsoft is that although there will be an upgrade path from CTP2 to CTP3, there is no such thing for going from CTP1 to CTP2. We are talking reinstall. I asked Mark Yang at Microsoft if there were any structural changes to the two planning databases (Application and Staging) and this is his answer.

'There are indeed structural changes in AppDb and StagingDb. If you are familiar with our import/export tools (might have been packaged together with the migration utilities), you should be able to manually export the
metadata from CTP1, manually making some changes, and then re-import it back to a CTP2 install. This approach, however, is unsupported in CTP1, so you will be doing this on your own risk.'

When I get round to doing this, other project commitments allowing, I'll let you know if there are any useful tips or gotchas.
