and display, all powered by the sun. Waiting passengers can search bus
routes and see the city-wide locations of travelling buses, as well as
being able to surf the web, post ads and community announcements to the bus stop
bulletin board. Should make waiting for the nightbus in Camden a little more interesting!
While we wait for this all immersive 'Eyestop' as it has been named, here are a couple of other attempts at making the humble bus stop a little more interesting.

As part of their Everyday Fabulous Design campaign, Ikea pimped out locations in NYC, including this bus stop.
Next up is the Watermelon bus stop in Ishaya, Japan.
Tubular Bus Stop, Curitiba, Brazil

School Bus Stop in Athens, Georgia

Just hanging about on the swing at this bus stop by artist Bruno Taylor.
And lastly, the rather scary bus stop in the Netherlands which weighs you and announces it on the billboard, a clever, if slightly intimidating campaign to announce the arrival of the local Fitness First.
