Firstly I have to say that I'm very impressed that this is posting number four for me , as my "public speaking/speech writing" skills aren't the strongest so to be able to write four blogs about something that may interest people is very pleasing to me. But anyhow onto the actual reason I'm writing this blog, the releasing of the Windows Server 2008 MCITP Exams today. As said in a previous posting I am a self confessed Microsoft exam addict and love planning and doing different exams to test my skills and ultimately make my job easier and hopefully let me grow in my career. So when I received my "first to know" newsletter telling me that the Windows Server 2008 MCITP Exams were available I was very excited(still am to be honest) and quickly read through all the documents and could now finally see what I had to do to get my Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator credential and hopefully my Windows Server 2008, Enterprise Administrator credential too.
For those people out there who may not have signed up for whatever reasons to the first to know newsletter( possibly not as much of a ms geek as me ) with the releasing of the exams they have released a savings voucher for any one of the following five Windows Server 2008 exams: 70-640, 70-642, 70-643, 70-646, or 70-647. The two MCITP exams being 646 and 647. If you Register by phone or online for your Windows Server 2008 exam using voucher number KN00V4SQ5X you will now get a 40% savings on the standard price of a Microsoft Certification exam in your region. Which is always a good thing and with the second chance deal still available the motivation for getting the exams should be a bit heightened. A note for this deal is that the code is only valid until September 30, 2008 so obviously the sooner you book it the better.
Being an MCSE 2003 credential holder having to do two exams to get my Windows Server 2008, Server Administrator credential doesn't sound as daunting task as I expected and I will definitely be talking to training ASAP.
