Article: SSIS Package Configurations

I've been looking into SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) quite a lot lately and have been writing a couple of articles about what I've been doing. My latest one called Easy Package Configuration is available on http://www.sqlis.com. The article explains how to use package configurations to dynamicly alter your SSIS packages at run-time.

The functionality is very similar to that provided by Conchango's SQL Server Accelerator for BI.

HI Jamie
I am not sure if this a bug with SSIS but I had a package with some lookups in it. Later I changed the connection manager for database connectivity and I put the connection string in a variable, just to make it flexible for me to change it at run time. But now all my lookups are giving error one by one saying " The Acquireconnection method  call to the connection manager "<name>" failed with error code 0xc0202009. I think lookup should work fine as i just put the connection string in variable and picked it from their by putting it in expression.
Pls advice.

Suresh,
Did you set up an expression on the connection manager's ConnectionString property?
What connection string is it trying to use? Use this technique to find out: http://blogs.conchango.com/jamiethomson/archive/2005/10/10/2253.aspx
