I have been testing speech recognition in Windows Vista and so far I am fairly impressed.
I managed to write this blog entry using Windows Live Writer without use of the keyboard or mouse. OK, it took quite long time but I got there in the end and I am hoping that over time it gets a lot easier. As you can see it includes italics, a hyperlink and a little bit of text.
Not only did I write the blog entry but I also managed publish it without using the mouse or keyboard. They tell me that speech recognition will recognise me better over time. I hope so because writing this post has taken far far too long. For now, I am going back to the keyboard.
