Global Flyer Mobile Tracker

Last year around this time I did a talk to some Kingston Students around Windows Mobile.

Part of the talk was involved the Virgin Atlantic Global Flyer.

Well it’s that time again and as Conchango are the Web Mission Control and a key sponsor of the flight I thought it’d only be fitting I gave you all the ability to keep an eye on how Steve Fossett and his team are getting on…

Thanks to Blue Sky Networks at SkyRouter.com for the great graphics, David Bradshaw and Paul Dawson of Web Mission Control for their help and Neil Cowburn for the code review.…

So with out further ado…

Global Flyer Tracker for Windows Mobile 2005 (Smartphone) (You’ll need CF2.0 from here)
Global Flyer Tracker for Windows Mobile 2005 (Pocket PC)
Global Flyer Tracker for Pocket PC 2003 SE
Global Flyer Tracker for Smartphone 2003 SE

You can press 1,2,3,4 to zoom to the level of your choice and 5 to see the full latest update text.

Enjoy and good luck to all the team over at Global Flyer.

UPDATE:

After feedback from the Mission Director I have uploaded some changes to the application... I would advise you upgrade.
