Sorry this has taken a bit longer than usual to post this but our blog site has been down, thanks to Ian Smith and Mark Mann who posted blogs about it in the meantime so people did not have to wait.
On Wednesday 3rd February we hosted the 11th Silverlight UK User Group (#SLUGUK) at Microsoft's Cardinal Place. We had two great speakers from Microsoft:
Mike Taulty presenting A guided tour of Microsoft Extensibility Framework (MEF) in Silverlight 4
Johannes Kebeck presenting on Working with The Bing Maps Control for Silverlight
We knew it was going to be a great event, but we did not realise just how great it would be.... It was our most popular SLUG ever with over 100 people coming along (sorry to those who did not get a seat), just as well we had enough beer and pizza thanks to Microsoft.
Again we were lucky enough to have Ian record the event for us:
Mike Taulty - MEF
Johannes Kebeck - Bing Maps
Watch this space for details on the 12th SLUG on Tuesday 13th April as we are currently arranging for Jesse Liberty to present at a joint SLUG and London .Net User Group, assuming we can get a room big enough :)
