EMC Corporation today announced that Microsoft has recognized EMC with its User Experience Solution Award as part of the FASTforward ’09 Enterprise Search Innovation Awards.

The annual FASTforward Enterprise Search Innovation Awards recognize organizations that go “beyond the search box” to empower users, enhance productivity and business results, embrace new digital revenue streams, encourage collaboration, and/or enable social computing. Fast Search and Transfer (FAST), a Microsoft subsidiary, is the leading developer of enterprise search technologies and solutions that are behind the scenes at the world’s best-known companies with the most demanding search requirements.

EMC Consulting / EMC Conchango have been selected as the winner of the User Experience Award at the Enterprise Search Innovation Awards at FASTforward'09 in Las Vegas.

The demo was created using all our user experience and design expertise combined with our knowledge of next generation technology to create a real application that allows you to collaborate and search using gestures and interactions that create a completely new experience for the user.

It demonstrates that search is a versatile tool that can be used for a variety of applications. It does this in such a way where we could excite users as to the possibilities surrounding this technology and by using it will directly benefit their business through either increase productivity, reduction of effort and/or high revenue/conversion rates.
