DataBinding in WPF

Please give a big welcome to Pat Long who has recently entered the blog sphere. Pat is currently cranking out lots of great WPF code snippets. Being a newbie to WPF, I am finding the simple snippets very useful. In one of his latest's posts Pat is diving into databinding and I am eagerly awaiting the followup post where he plans to dive deeper into databinding and converters.

Recently I started reading Charles Petzold's Applications = Code + Markup book. Petzold has done an awesome job. The code examples are iterative and concise as Petzold takes you on a journey of adventure through WPF. It is so well written that you don't have to crank out the code examples, you can read the code and understand what is going on. I am currently on chapter 5 and it keeps on getting better. If your interested in WPF and want to start learning this is the book of choice, IMHO.
