... the Virtual SCSI driver that is installed causes a blue screen at reboot. What makes it worse is that the Windows Installer service will not start in Safe Mode. Luckily I was able to disable/uninstall the errant device from the Device Manager instead and remove the software completely after a further reboot.
Even the Microsoft Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel had problems (just silently failing though on mount, no blue screens). Guess I'll be burning those ISO's back to CD before installing them!
