  • SQL Security Patch Build is CU6+ but not quite CU7

    So as suspected when I installed the new Security patch released by Microsoft for SQL 2005 sp2 that I mentioned this morning my build number has indeed shot up to 3233.  This places me somewhere between CU6 and CU7.   • SQL 2005 post sp2 cumulative hotfix package posted by Microsoft

    First we had sp2 (build 3042)... Then came sp2a (still build 3042 but 3043 if you looked at the dlls) A hotfix was then released to bring those on old sp2 up to sp2a (which took the build number to 3050)...
